Where did you hear it?
No surprise. If the Spurs are going to add talent it will be via trade.
Rick Bucher announced on ESPNews just a short while ago
Well..
I guess that about does it.
it's going to be ok ....![]()
i saw that coming
I'd rather look for a trade than overpay for just somebody.
I don't see it officially anywhere that he's staying in Portland, but it looks like the Spurs offered him 4 years/$24M compared to Portland's 5 years.
Just got word that the Detroit Pistons have signed free agent center Nazr Mohammed to a four-year deal at the midlevel exception, effectively ending any chance of Blazers center Joel Przybilla going to Detroit.
Przybilla is still expected to make a decision today, and it is believed to be contemplating between the Blazers, who have offered a five-year, $30 million deal; San Antonio, who offered four years and about $24 million; and perhaps Cleveland (just got word that Sacramento is now out of the picture).
That's good news for the Blazers ...
Quick
Faak.
There are a lot of RFAs. When those players get an offer from another team, that team may be looking to clear salary during the 7 day period allowed for the offer match. Bargains can be had at such times.
I hope this isn't true. Who else are we going to get?!?
Nazr's gone? Addition by subtraction...
WTF will we do for a big man now.
You guys act like Pryzbilla is the man. he's a servicable 5 that can block shots. We didn't need to go out and overpay another big after we just got finished ridding ourselves of one.
Someone just on the coats!
$6/yr is not overpaying for pryzbilla. he's a good player at a position where there aren't many good players. he's worth that type of money.
hopefully it's true, f'k getting a younger rasho
On ESPNews? I've been watching ESPNews and they haven't mentioned anything about that.
