If you're the Pacers why do you trade a $4 mil a year rebounding machine? Who do you want from the Spurs?

pacers need a point
tinsley is always hurt
beno and right to scola?
I don't think Indiana is looking to trade Foster.
I've made few days ago a scenario to get him :

But it's unlikely we get him.
Foster makes over $5 million next year. It would take much more than just Beno's $1 million contract to match salaries. Foster actually earns his salary. It would really have to be a great deal for the Pacers to trade him.
Plus the Pacers don't need a point guard that badly, especially one who still hasn't proven himself. Tinsley is often hurt, but Anthony Johnson played really well last year, and Bird has said publicly that he wants Saras to play more, and play more at the PG position. Beno does not address a need right now.
Now, if Jeff Foster's contract would help the Pacers land Al Harrington, I could understand. Otherwise, I don't think the Spurs will be getting Foster.
Jackson can be a tough point guard too you know
doubt they'd give up Foster but, sure would be nice to have him....
Go ahead and move 2 7 footers, and make Duncan play center.
And you'll see the Spurs win about 50 games next year
He spends most of the off season in San Antonio, works out with Tim, and supposedly would like to play in his hometown. I recall the story from last summer when the Pacers wanted him to come back to Indiana to work out and he said he was working out with the Finals MVP and, well, did they have anyone better they'd like him to scrimmage with? Legend has it that was the end of the discussion. . .
That's great, but as long as he's under contract, I don't think it matters all that much.
