Who cares?
Some SI wannabees (i.e. Chris Mannix) and increasingly the rest of the media doesn't have the guts to provide their e-mail address for comments, when they "write" (often at a 4th grade level) an article. At least Mr. Burns, Smith the idiot, and the NY/LA writers usually give one and often (and surprisingly respond in a nice way).
Show you have some! Mr. Blog and others! Here's one doc betting you don't!

Some of us leave the narrrow confines of this etherworld occassionally!
Back to real work. Can you fathom the term = real work?

I've got to agree with MB on this one. If I don't like what a sportswriter writes, I show my displeasure by not reading any more of his/her stuff.
I can't really blame them. If they publish their e-mail addresses, they're bound to get hundreds or thousands of e-mails. I can understand that they don't really want to deal with that.
A sportswriter has the responsibility to write something that entertains me. If he/she is successful, I'll buy the stuff. It's not the job of the sportswriter to get involved in e-mail discussions with fans.
I've never had any interest in writing to a sportwriter to disagree with a column.
I truly believe that you know what you're talking about more than many of them anyway, MadDoc, so why waste your time?
Sure I can Rummprider. I can also fathom having a real job with real autonomy and not being a slave such as yourself.Back to real work. Can you fathom the term = real work?
Dear MB:
FYI: I am one of the 2% or so of American's actually who really loves their job = teaching, a public health/medical practice, and directing a new public health center that helps combat terrorism.
Probably a foreign concept to most of you = loving your work in the same way we love the Spurs. [B]If you do also = more power to you!! (and by the way I actually admire your posts 99% of the time).

Back to the point, I agree with MB and Brodels -- if you don't like what was written, don't read what the guy writes next. It's pretty simple, really.
E-mailing someone is find and dandy if you're pissed off, but it's far from your God-given right to do so. Besides, what do you expect to get out of e-mailing him? Do you think you can somehow appeal to the better angels of his nature and cause him to rethink what he wrote. The dude expressed his opinion -- which is what he's paid to do -- and he's probably got some reason (whether rational or not) for having that viewpoint. You can and moan about his opinion being wrong or unfounded or whatever, but the truth is, you're not going to change your mind. It's exceedingly unlikely that the guy would even respond or even read what you wrote. Thus, you're probably engaging in more productive activity by venting here and having others tell you that you're right and that the writer is just a poorly-informed, know-nothing bas .
If that's really Matt's position, then why did he respond the first time with "Who cares?".Back to the point, I agree with MB and Brodels -- if you don't like what was written, don't read what the guy writes next.
Oops -- I misread that.
Still, if you have a problem with what I wrote, my email address is:
