Hassan Nasrallah's Press Conference: Fully Translated Remarks on Situation

    STOLEN FROM POWERLINE BLOG:

Blog of the Week Vital Perspective has a complete transcript of Hassan Nasrallah's statement at a press conference last Friday. It is delusional; Nasrallah speaks exactly as he would if Israel had invaded Lebanon out of the blue; as though his own terrorists had not initiated the hostilities with a cross-border raid in which they murdered eight Israelis and kidnapped two; as though his own organization had not made the continued conflict necessary by raining hundreds of rockets onto Israeli civilians; as though Hezbollah were not responsible for the deaths of Lebanese civilians through its staging of attacks from residential areas and use of Lebanese citizens as human shields. Actually, now that I think about it, he reminds me a lot of Noam Chomsky.
It occurs to me that many of the Lebanese villagers are being told, by Hezbollah (as Nasrallah press conference would seem to try and reinforce) that Hezbollah is resisting an unprovoked invasion by Israel.

Now, for the Israeli response. It seems to be a little more "reality-based," if you ask me.

Yep. Pretty much...but, I'm guessing you didn't read the statement.
