Gene isn't that bad, he just likes to over exaggerates things. I think he says what he says just to shock people. The more he gets interviewed, his little "act" starts to get stale. But you have to admit, he's a master a generating publicity for things. His advertising alone is what's keeping KISS (or KISS lite now they they have scrubs Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer posing as Ace and Peter) a float these days. He's turned one of the great bands of the 70's into a novelity act.

I just watched the interview and he wasn't being a to S y, he was being "Gene". You're never really ready for he will say on the air, I'm not sure at times he knows either, but he carries enough clout that he can get away with it.
