For the past 2 weeks, the audio on my Dell Inspiron E1505 stutters, any audio including streaming, cd's, AIM sounds, etc. They skipping makes it sound like my computer is playing a badly scratched up CD.

FYI I have a Audigy Sound Blaster.

Any ideas how to fix this?

update the audio drivers and pray you didn't blow your speakers. plug in some external ones to be sure.

It's probably a wrong setting Go to ---> control panel---->sound and audio devices--->make sure the audio tab it is set to SB Audigy!, also under the audio tab, press the advanced button---> performace tab -->make sure both the sliders are set to the right. Sometimes games can change the audio settings without you knowing.
