The "democratic" left

It's ironic that the left (at least in LatAm) always claims to be a democratic political force, but reality is that they are far from it.

Castro in Cuba, Chavez in Mexico and now Lopez Obrador in Mexico. This dude has been declared by his leftists followers the legitmate president of Mexico, even though he lost the election.

Not sure where this will end, but it looks like Mexico is in for a rough ride, politically speaking.

undemocratic governments that systematically persecute and kill their dissenting citizens and are subject to no laws (much like the WH Repugs) very commonly claim to be democratic, claim to derive their legitimacy from the will of the people.
