I've been to two games already and he's never been around before games to sign autographs. I just got tickets to the Nets game and I was wondering if any of you guys knew when he usually signs autographs. It would definetely make my year. Thanks.

If you wait by the tunnel (around sect 101) during warmups, you can probably get some signatures as the players head back into the lockerroom before they come out again for the game.

Do you have to have seats near the tunnel to stand there?

That's surprising, I've never had a problem walking around the lower section in San Antonio, there's always tons of fans lined up next to the tunnel to get autographs. I know Timmy doesn't like to do it, he got mad at a couple guys last time I was there (it was obvious they were going to sell the auto's on e-bay).

In the other games I've been two I've had no trouble getting to the isle where the players sign autographs, but Tim has never been there. Does he come earlier than when they open the doors to the arena?

He usually signs about 45 minutes - 75 minutes before the game. He is usually really good about signing autographs. There are usually no problems standing next to the tunnel to the locker rooms 1 hour before the game but you need expensive tickets to stand there 1-2 hours before gametime.

Starting last season, he has almost stopped completely signing autographs before the games. His pre-game routine changed and he's so focused pre-game that he doesn't talk to anyone. The times I talk to him it's post-game. In San Antonio, he uses the vistor's tunnel so if you're at the Spurs tunnel, you won't get him.

There were 2 guys (even had his 3-year-old daughter involved) with a bag full of items to get each player to sign. Maybe he recognized them from other games? I don't know, I thought it was obvious what they were doing and Timmy realized it too and was not happy. TP made a comment to them as well.

I don't think you can get to the tunnel with seats in Section 118, I think you've gotta be in the lower level.

118 is in the lower (Plaza) level. But it's near the visitor's tunnel.

If I were Tim or Horry I'd crank up my iPod and briskly walk out of the tunnel with a determined look on my face making eye contact with nothing but floor about six feet in front of me.

Last night the railing was crowded early. I got down there at 5:02 and had to squeeze for a spot.

Several times ushers came by checking tickets. I heard one usher tell someone that if you had a ticket that was in the 100's or lower you could come down.
However it has been my experience that unless you are in one of the very lowest levels, the ushers won't let you at the railing.

Alright, I suppose I can offer this up. It was just kinda something I did once. I went to Game 6, 2003 NBA Finals, vs. the New Jersey Nets. My Dad and I were sitting somewhere in the middle of the upper level. For some reason I had decided to wear just a black polo shirt. Moments from victory, my dad and I decide to go to the lower level for a closer look at the presentation. During the presentation, some people with black polo shirts walked down. I followed...No one stopped me. I just kept walking. Once I reached the court I just mingled with the people. IT WAS GREAT. A sea of people, almost like one big Frat party. Not sure about the using the ramp. But if you want to get on court just wear a black polo and ACT LIKE YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING.

When they come to Conseco, if he's smart, he'll use the home team's tunnel...no one will be waiting there!
