The Badgers take a 27-4 record into the Big Ten tournament beginning Thursday at the United Center in Chicago.

Thad Matta of top-ranked Ohio State was named conference Coach of the year by both the media and coaches. The Buckeyes (27-3) won their second straight Big Ten le this season under Matta and have tied the school record for victories in a season.

The Buckeyes' standout center Greg Oden was named Freshman of the Year after leading the league in rebounding and blocked shots. Joining Tucker and Oden on the first All-Big Ten teams chosen by both media and coaches are conference scoring leader Adam Haluska of Iowa and Michigan State's Drew Neitzel. Filling out the coaches' squad was Purdue's Carl Landry while the media went with another Ohio State freshman, Mike Conley Jr.

I wonder how Tuck will do in thr pros. There are not many 6'5" SFs. There are some, but its rare. Hopefully his basketball IQ, athleticism, and clutchness will make up for his lack of height.

I though he was 6-7 for some reason, if he is that short he will just really have to work on ball handling and shooting, but the kids got heart and determination, and with his work ethic I think he will be just fine

He'll drop into the 20s, probably not to 28, though. That height will scare people away.
