they get a big kick in the pants
How much does a player get for winning the Championship? Winning a playoff series? They have to get some sort of bonus don't they?
Don't believe i've heard of any such prize money, these guys have a enough money anyway
Im not sure, I would think they would get some cash.
NFL gave $64,000 to the Colts and I believe $36,000 to the Bears for making it to the Super Bowl.
Thats each player right?
I read in "Seven Seconds or Less" that all players and staff got something like $50K each for each round of the playoffs they advanced. Not sure about the dollar figure but I recall it was significant.
There's pay bonuses for a few different things... like getting the Number 1 Seed.
The franchises make a fortune, the players not so much. Getting into the playoffs can make the difference between losing money and making money on the season, since they keep the bulk of the extra ticket revenues.

Players get shares and each team decides whom to include. Last go around, the Spurs players together decided to give half a share to Malik and half a share to Nazr.
