If we don't draft a wing player that we intend to bring over this year I think Strawberry would be a great summer league invite. He has a decent offensive game and is a phenomenal defender. He sounds like he could be a great roleplayer in the right system. Hes undersized, so he'll never be a starter. But he could have a great career on the right team.

I've seen some of his high school games, and he looked soft and weak. Those skills don't translate well to the NBA. I don't know what the he's thinking coming out.

Well, considering that hes no longer elligible to play at the college level since he just graduated I think it might be prudent to try and get drafted. What would you prefer he do?

no sir..very overrated player...saw him play in highscool....he will get maybe in invite to a camp but he wont make it and if he did he will play in the nbdl not the nba...i see no future for this kid

Ehhhhh... I don't know about this guy. I'm a Terp fan and let me tell you. While this guy does maybe have the will to win, he more times than others tends to play beyond himself and it has cost us many a win during his 4 years. Now when he gets hot its one thing. But when he goes cold. ughhh! One guy from MD who needs to get consideration is probably a shooter named Mike Jones. He was the 2nd rated PG coming out of HS behind Lebron. I catch alot of flack in MD on defending this kid. But he really has as good a jumpshot as JJ Re . Gary Williams IMO just didn't groom the kid right. On the right team he could be a heck of a spot up shooter. And his athletism is outrageous. The only knock on him is probably his handles. I could see him possibly being a steal for some team like Gibson was at Texas. Hopefully MB will do a draft look at Mike Jones.
