They seem to be putting a lot on into Live this year but Live looked great last year and played horribly. Unless the entire game is changed from the ground up I don't care how good the graphics look I won't play it.
I'm guessing not much has changed with 2k because they haven't released hardly anything about the game other than the dunk contest.
maybe i can be wrong about 2k maybe it will be different come october

2K still owns Live. Unless they fix the fact that Live sucks ass, the pretty graphics won't mean .
best sports game of all time is still Tecmo Bowl, and that's 8 bit graphics and 2 buttons.

If they really wanna get realistic with it, then during Franchise mode, Dirk's hair should grow as the season goes on until it gets all long and shaggy, and then it gets buzzed, and that keeps repeating. same with Nash.

2K8 looks like it has alot of glitches. I'm very familiar with stuff having lots of glitches.
Im more of a 2k guy, but Live looks raw this year.
player models are horrible. that b-Diddy pic is ridiculous, way too skinny and why does Tim Duncan have a huge nose. Also, ive never understood the shorts in LIVE

2K has been better than Live for a while now. The past 2 next gen Live les have played like .
As a pure PC gamer I am stuck with the Live series.
Nothing like spending $600 on a video card and being stuck with ty games.
Gameplay should ALWAYS be better than graphics. PERIOD. Too bad graphics sale games
2k is so much better than the live seris of games, gameplay wise, its not even funny. live sucks balls.
That was the exact reason I bought an XBox360. Live 07 was so pathetic I dropped $400 on a system to play a decent basketball game. Live always looks pretty on the box with the great screenshots, but it never holds it own once you pop the disc in.As a pure PC gamer I am stuck with the Live series.

this is the early stages of the game, it will definately look better than 2k7, and that game looked awesome IMHO
yeah some of those Live pics look good, but they gave everybody "ogre face" and the bodies don't look realistic.
the first pic of arenas is perfect, but that's not going to be what you see while playing the game.
they also gave Lebron a nose that would put Bill Cosby to shame.

For nostalgia, perhaps, but I've never played a sports game that handles like Winning Eleven 9. I'm not even a huge soccer fan and that game blows everything else I've played on a court or field out of the water.
