Gilbert Arenas:

Which players have blogs that they write to themselves on a regular basis? Anyone know? I know I've caught references to some in the past, but I started this thread so I can start trying to keep track of some of them.

I like Arenas' blog. I liked his entry about his girlfriend.
Damn NBA.COM won't let me add it to my blogroll in Bloglines though - it just comes up as NBA.COM without the rest of the URL for Arenas' blog.
I think Gilbert may have the only "permanent" blog. I think the others you may have heard mentioned in passing were only for the playoffs. Bill Russell had one, but I am not sure whether or not it was a one-shot deal. I mention it becuase though retired, I was under the impression that Russell's was ongoing. The only ones I found worth reading were Russell's and Gilbert's blogs.
These were active during the playoffs, I'm not sure if they'll stay active.
Try searching on NBA.com for "Player Blogs" as the season gets underway. I bet they'll be more.

He's not officially a player yet -- he's currently trying to replace Mikki Moore on the Nets -- but this guy has Paul Shirley-like writing potential.

So do none of the players maintain their own blogs? By that I mean, not affiliated officially with the NBA. I know Manu and Tony have occassionally written entries on their own websites, but they don't update very often.
Here's Bill Russell from the playoffs:

Duncan keeps a diary on his site, he hadn't updated it in a long time then he did a couple last season. There's been debate on this board as to whether he really writes it, I'm in the believe it's him camp.

(nb. I do not, in any way, guarantee that C-Bill has anything to do with that blog).
Not a player, but don't forget Flea's blog. A die hard Laker's fan but his writing can be great.

Not a player, but Mark Cuban has one of the best blogs (IMO) on the net.

He writes about whatever he wants, though, so it's not specifically Mavs-related stuff. He writes on everything from his first fist fight, to the direction of content on the web, to Mavs games and NBA-related issues, to his broadcast.com days. It's funny to read his stories, interesting to read his take on basketball issues, and enlightening to hear his insight into the business world.
He's still an asshole wannabe frat boy who needs to hit the treadmill and stay the away from my tv, but damn it, I think I have to respect him, in spite of himself.
I can almost guarantee that blog has nothing to do with Chauncey himself. Look at the list of other blogs written by the same author. And I seriously doubt an NBA player would spend his time commenting on other players off court dress.
Luol Deng's on ESPN.com:

Hehe, nicely put.
I concur - I love Flea's blog even though he is a total Lakers homer.
