Go Sox!
lets get it started. boston in 6. mvp: pedroia the destroya
game 1: josh beckett vs jeff francis
All I'm gonna predict for now is.....................snow.
Go Sox!
Rockies will sweep!
Best prediction of the thread.
GO Rockies and I think it should be fun.
If Colorado can win game 1 they will go on to win the series.![]()
This has remake of Florida/NYY written all over it.
Yes, because Boston has never came back from adversity.

wait a minute....who is Florida and who is NY??? Becket in on Boston, yet Colorado is in NL....you have me totally confused.
I say Boston in 5 or 6...but maybe 7 if Coors Field's al ude gets to our pitchers....anyway....Boston will win it...that is a lead pipe lock.
That wasn't difficult!
Boston should win in 6 based on the starting rotations. That said, I wouldn't care to bet against Colorado right now. I sure as thought the Tigers would either sweep the Cardinals or win in 5 last year, so who knows?
Having to essentially decide against Youk/Papi or suffer defensively should make the Coors games very interesting.
On paper, it would seem as if Boston would romp, but I just don't see anyway you can bet against Colorado making this an interesting series or winning the whole ing thing.
I predict seven.
Old momentum or new momentum? Rockies have won in Boston, including a beatdown of Beckett. Took two of three from the Red Sox during interleague play, reportedly killing them in the two wins. Colorado is playing better now!
Will the layoff break the momentum of the Rockies? Will they still be hot, but not as hot as the hard-charging Red Sox that just killed in the last three games a very good Indians team?
Six or seven, Rockies win...
If your gonna make arguments against how COL played the Sox in the regular season, then I'm gonna say the Sox win because they have been there before.
This is the World Series. The regular season has zip to do with it. I do expect home field advantage to play a part here, so my nod is towards the Sox. Should be a good series though, if the Rockies haven't cooled off or gotten rusty in the wait.
I enjoy how Game 4 sold out before Games 3 or 5.
Ill predict Boston in 6.
Too much pitching.
people seem to really love that matchup of jon lester vs aaron cook
I would like to go see Lester. I'm not a fan of him obviously but I know a few Boston fans that love him.
I failed to get any World Series tickets. Damn that was ing impossible to get. I will be in Denver that weekend anyways because I'll be at the Broncos/Packers MNF game so I'm going to talk to some people I know and see if I can get tickets.
It be fun to go but who knows.
But Boston has 2 pitchers pitching at Coors in the world series.
I like it:
Actually Lesters not a rookie I dont think but pretty close to it.
I'm not sure if he qualifies for one or not.![]()
I don't give a damn about MLB and won't watch the Series but due to the extreme baggery coming out of Boston's NFL team and its fans, I have to agree with this dude. Funny how one team and its fans make you hate an entire city.

Thats just how I am.
I hate the Boston Red Sox more then any team in the world. I even root against them when they dont play one of my 14 favorite teams.![]()
But because of them I hate all Boston sports.
Thier fans are too arogant for me.
Colorado beat Boston in June, back when Boston was not playing good ball at all. (13-14 in June) They had just gotten back from a west coast road trip against the Angels and Diamondbacks( 7 straight days) ( 10 straight days without a day off if you count the 3 games against NY before the road trip)the day before they played Colorado, so I do not put any stock in that series loss.
Boston in 4 or 5.

It's true. Although I think Red Sox fans are bigger bags than Pats fans because they always feel sorry for themselves.
