I'm looking to purchase a home, but my credit sucks ass.I have a good income and good job history, but once that report gets run it dead ends.I know I need to repair my credit(which I want to),but it seems like I have to pay an obscene amount just to begin that process.I know it won't be cheap, but a couple of places I called want 5-600 to start. If there is anyone who knows of any programs that can help or can at least point me in the right direction,it would greatly appreciated.

if you're that low....you're probably going to have to wait until you get it fixed. don't use any of those places, do it yourself. call them all see what they'll settle for and settle them all. if you have a good income..kill your debt first and fix your credit score. also, have you tried a mortgage broker?
