With there being an unusually close eye on the NBA officials this season after the scandal, I wonder if there will be a tangible change in the way games are officiated in contrast to the previous seasons?
At some point last week, the league said that it would make officiating assignments public information on the day of games. I had figured that the information might be available but hard to come by -- turns out the league has created a page on its site to make those daily announcements. For anyone who is curious about who tonight's officials will be, the league's website says it will be Jim Clark, James Capers, and Tommy Nunez, Jr.

Jack Nies has HOU @ LAL along with Bennie Adams and Rodney Mott. Ron Garretson, Mark Ayotte, and Jason Phillips have UTH @ GST.
If you intend to follow the officiating assignments, I'd recommend bookmarking that page, since the site doesn't appear to have a permanent link to it (at least not yet).

While I've never decided to wager any $$ on a specific team, home or away, based on who the officials are, it has and will continue to come into play when deciding if there's value in betting the over/under of a game who's line appears to be off.
