Dude he can score and dish all he wants. I praise him mostly because of his rebounds. It's just insane how he can do that.

    And he's what, 40?

Best rebounding guard in this game no doubt. I want him to average a triple double though, just have to get all those boards.

The rebounds are by far the most impressive. There are plenty of big men that don't even come close to what Kidd does which is amazing for a pg

He's a great rebounder, probably one of the best rebounding guards in the history of the game. I still say that's just as much an indictment on the Nets frontcourt players as much as it is a credit to him.

Thank God they finally demoted Jason Collins to the bench. Talk about scrubs...

Kidd's a beast and for sure number two point guard in the league, but he doesn't touch Nash offensive and has lost a step on defense. However, in his prime he was simply amazing.

It's a possibility for Kidd to average a triple-double this season. I think Lebron could aswell perhaps.

Kidd is a beast and deserves a le..

Kidd's a great player, but I can't get over his one glaring weakness. This year he is only shooting 36 percent from the field. For his career, he is only a 40 percent shooter.

Given the Suns' current inclination for an uptempo offense and Kidd and Nash's talents on the open floor...

Who would you rather have leading your fastbreak and uptempo offense? Nash, during his MVP seasons, or Kidd, pre-knee problems?

I've experienced both. Several other Suns fans here may have as well...

I can easily say Nash, but it's almost entirely because of his shooting. His shooting allows him to get away with murder of fundamentals on a nightly basis, but it's SOOOO good and in comparison to Kidd's percentages, it's almost laughable. While Kidd is the better rebounder and defender in his prime, despite having very, very good talent, a Kidd-led Suns team never advanced in the playoffs. During Kidd's tenure with Phoenix, the only playoff series the Suns won was with Kidd out, KJ back from retirement vs. a Duncan-less Spurs team in 2000. The next series, with Kidd back, the Suns lost 4-1 to the Lakers.

Say what you want about Nash and his playoff failures out West, but until Kidd moved to the Leastern Conference, he had yet to even win a series. And before you give me the "Nash has more talent than did Kidd" argument, there's no way that 05-06 team was more talented than any team Kidd had. I mean, Nash's Marion was better than Kidd's Marion, but Kidd always had a McDyess, Gugliotta, Robinson in the frontcourt, sometimes even a combination of quality PF/C like those named while in 05-06, Nash had an unknown Diaw manning the center position, and a recently waived Tim Thomas manning the backup PF/C spots.

Without a doubt both Kidd and Nash are fantastic fast-break PGs, but I'd prefer my PG to shoot above 40%, a struggle yearly for Kidd.
