I didn't even think it was close when they both got drafted. But, dam is Deron really good too. Deron is already 1000 times the player I thought he ever was going to be. Right now, I'm not sure which kid is better. I have an affinity towards CP3 because his game mirrors Isiah Thomas a lot and he was one of my favorite players growing up. But, I cannot deny how good a player Deron Williams has become so quickly. You can credit his teammates or the system he plays in or Jerry Sloan. But, he's been a flat out stud.

^^I don't know if this is good or bad but I actually expected more from Deron than I did from Chris Paul. I always like Deron, I didn't know Chris had the offensive firepower he has. I remember watching him in Wake Forest. He was pretty damn good there, but I didn't know he can dominate the ball the way he has. Very impressive.

Right now Paul is probably better than Deron, but Deron is a heady player and has a huge ceiling. Plus, he presents so many matchup problems for the team who has to guard him.

I don't think you can say Paul is better than Deron overall, just temporarily. They're two different styles of play.
