Roy still has the skill to outbox him and o showed in his fight with Wright that he is really slow now. He never had great hand speed but now it is downright awful. Jones will win if he just stays away from o and boxes.
I realize that this fight should have happened ten years ago, but I still will watch. If o catches Jones even once, it has been proven that Jr. will go down.
Still think it will be a good one though........meaningless........but good.

I wonder why pay the old champs to fight once again and again and again and give them tons of million$.
Like De La Hoya
I will watch it ofcourse. It will be on tv cause Golota is going to 'fight' on earlier match... something hilarious once again?
I predict this will bomb. I'm still gonna watch, for free ofcourse.
i hope o gets knocked the out!
No thanks. Roy is and always has been too big for o. Not o's slow and chunky. This'll be a yawner.
Accually good fight for Roy
o had a rust on his body and was unable to shake it off. Well how could he when Jones was faster and qicker plus he felt more comfortable in the ring. Trinidad never fought with such 'big' strong opponent. A combination of strenght and quckness killed o who looked like a jelly out there.
It was nice to see technical boxing match.
btw. Golota won, nad there were accually emotions![]()
Well , I was wrong. Roy looked damn good at 170 pounds. Can't believe he got down to that weight after fighting around 200 the past few years. Maybe the weight loss will give him a late career resurgence.
Oh, and Trinidad should just stay retired this time.
He actually only fought at that weight once against John Ruiz. I don't know what happened to him against that idiot Tarver. I thought he won the first fight despite some controvery, the 2nd fight he just got caught with a punch, no big deal the third fight, he just was afraid to be aggressive. He lost that fight on his own, by just not throwing his shots. He is not in his prime anymore but he looked lightyears better last night than he has the last few years.
