... because on the day after a big game (Suns) Spurs fans from around the country (who can't buy a S.A. newspaper or listen to S.A. radio) use the Internet and WOAI to read about the victory and at 9: a.m. find that the latest article was on the loss to the Sonics.
Travis2, thanks! I've always gone to WOAI and their web site is on my browser for this very reason. I had forgotten about the S.A. News. I may have to change sites now.
Just to say this, I'm not certain what WOAI.com's staffing is like, but the sports department at the Express-News actually handles the sports stuff online and AFAIK, MySA has staffers that either work throughout the day and night or enough people with the ability to work on the sites to adjust them properly.
OTOH, I'm the second half of a two-man show at KSAT.com, but since I was already awake and had maintenance on the site when I got home, I made sure to add the Spurs game to the local headlines when the story got added to my network.
Of course, I would much rather you read KSAT.com anyway, but I know certain other sites handle certain functions better than the others, which is what we're working on improving.
Plus, it's not good for anybody to rely on only one source for information.
