Seau is the only guy on the Pats that it's really hard to hate, because the whole year he was just having fun and working hard. He wanted to earn a championship, not just ride the wave of success of an elite team. That said, I still think his fake retirement thing was a big slap in the face to San Diego and was a huge move on his part, but over his career he's usually been nothing but classy and a hard worker.
And the '72 Dolphins getting to talk a little bit longer is loads better than the '07 Patriots joining them. Their talking would have been loads worse. Lesser of two evils.

What else do these guys have besides their rings? They played before the money got absurdly large where once you were a star, you were set for life financially...all their money is gone, so all they have left is this record, which before this year, everyone thought was unreachable.

Does anyone know if they filmed two versions of that commercial where the other one was the Pats moving into the neighborhood? Seems likely but I haven't heard since it came out immediately after the game.
