Does Bonner have any trade value at all? A buddy and I were just talking about tonight's game and he jokingly said, "We should sell Isiah on Bonner spacing the floor for Curry and gnab Balkman." But then I thought, that's actually not such a bad idea for either team.

It wouldn't help the Spurs this year, but it makes sense in other ways.

He has a good contract and a valuable skill. That said he's probably not as attractive as the expiring deals are right now. Everyone with a low post scorer would like a big man who can shoot close to 40% from the arc.*

Good you agree with me that Bonner sucks. If he were any good Pop would have played him and his 40% 3PT shooting.

I wouldn't have expected a whole lot more minutes from Bonner at this point with Horry still on the team. We'll see how things go. With tall ball making a comeback in the west, he just became more important.

i hope so. because as e20 implied, being a 3pt shooting big is fine and dandy but if you cant justify being on the court for something other than that, you arent worth much. i think the bigger problem is that he looks lost, outmatched, i dont know. like if he were embarassed to be there. where is the super-hustle he was showing earlier in the year?
