Let's be some positive - a few factors to consider:

    1) Spurs are the defending champs and every other team gets their Joneses up to beat them night in and night out...Spurs are the current measuring stick for the league,

    2) Spurs are pacing for the Playoffs and are still the most cohesive, playoff tested team in the league with Detroit running a very close second. I suggest Pop is testing the team right now to get a strong understanding of who is capable of what and in differing, BB intensity situations,

    3) The team has adjustments to get used to, they made two trades and have their SG and PG coming off injuries. In this regard they are no different than many other teams in the league.

    4) Lastly, until I see otherwise, the Spurs are like a lucky penny, they always turn upright. They are so consistent with how they respond to adversity that it's very hard to bet against them. We played 8 games in 11 days - for an old team that's too much...They may be stinking it up now, but this is so similar to how they have played during other years that it's fair to count on them to figure it out come Playoff time. This year will be different if they make it happen again...Pop will bench the Mouse in the Playoffs and will play Vaughn. Mouse's testing period is now, and it appears he fails to produce 'BIG TIME'...Finley will be 3rd in the rotation after Udoka and Barry, so I am NOT worried...Tim, Thomas, Horry and Oberto will share the minutes at the BIGS...Bonner lost a BIG vote of confidence today with his horrible misses from WIDE OPEN 3s...The Spurs have never had this kind of March before, never, but their schedule wasn't that brutal enough as it is now (as well)...I do think, if by one game, half a game, they need to be SouthWest Conf Champs. That alone will help them in the play offs. They'll come around and if they don't it'll be the first time I've seen it with TD, MG, and TP playing together (barring injury seasons).

    GO SPURS! GO MANU!!!
