Jerry Stackhouse quite literally beating the out of Jeff Hornacek.
On the heels of the whole David West/Dirk thing, what are the best shots taken in memory?
I'll start:
Kermit Washington dropping Rudy T (cheap shot IMO).
Chris Childs/Kobe
Jordan/Reggie Miller (doesn't really count)
Peeler/KG FTW...
Shaq karate chopping I forget who-
-any other good ones?
(if you'll notice I'm not adding Larry Johnson/Alonzo Mourning...I've never seen such a girl fight since, well----I saw a girl fight)
Jerry Stackhouse quite literally beating the out of Jeff Hornacek.
Since I respect your opinion, I'm curious what you thought of West reacting like he did to Dirk's elbow.
not a punch but I loved when Barkley threw the ball at shaq's face and then tackled him.
Not exactly a punch but Reggie Evans goin' nuts on Kaman was pretty original.
BWAAAAHAHHHHAHHAAAAAHHAAAA...and then Kaman's very original answer when asked: "What happened back there?"
Kaman: "He uh, grabbed my nuts"
Not in a million years would I expect the team's leader to shoot back in a playoff game. If ANY of the big 3 would have in that situation on the Spurs they would be villified for years for the ensuing suspension and hurting the team, even if we won. F them...Dirk kept his head. Good for him.
Yea i remember that.![]()
There has never been a good "fight" in the NBA...EVER.
I wouldn't call it a cheap shot. After all Rudy was running up on Kermit. Kermit didn't know what his intentions were so he socked him. You can't run up on somebody while they're in the middle of a fight. Although I hated to see it happen, i wouldn't call it a cheap shot!
That has to be the worst.
The funniest was Lionel Hollins socking Tree Rollins and running for his life.![]()
good pointit's really disappointing since NBA players spend so much time in practice working on their fighting technique.
Exactly...I'm going for the Carmelo Anthony "Smack & Run" technique...a.k.a Tai KwanGo
Sedale Threat punching Danny Ainge and watching Ainge Dazed from the punch was a good one too.
what about Dr.J, Barkley and moses malone jumping on Larry Bird?
How about Jermaine Oneal Punching Ben Wallace in 2003 (Not the Pacers-Pistons Brawl)
I don't know, but this fan has an incredible chin.
Man, that was bush league. On a side note, Bavetta looks < 100 in that video.
Yeah, that was ed up. They definitely jumped on Bird and should have been suspended for awhile for that. I don't think any of them got punished for that, although they should have. You can see moses get a punch in too when he grabbed Bird around the neck.
this is how they do it in Argentina and abroad

Jermaine Oneal's punch on that Pistons fan is one of the best i've seen
Prior to the Pacers/Pistons incident the Suns/Knicks was the worst. I can't find a video of it, but here's an article.

I'm still amazed at how ppl hold Greg Anthony in such high regards.. Most must not remember how he came onto the court in street clothes and sucker punched KJ from behind.Wallets belonging to several New York Knicks and Phoenix Suns were considerably lighter after the National Basketball Association levied a record $160,500 in fines and issued three suspensions after a bench-clearing brawl involving the two teams.
The NBA announced a record 21 fines in the brawl, which began when New York guard Doc Rivers and Phoenix Suns' guard Kevin Johnson got involved in first a shouting match, and then fisticuffs. Several players, including Knicks' injured point guard Greg Anthony, who was in civilian clothes, came off the bench and joined the melee.
Anthony, who is on the injured list, was suspended for "at least" five games, to begin as soon as he's able to play. He was also fined $20,500. His suspension will cost him at least $65,061 in salary. Johnson was suspended two games and fined $15,000, with $45,122 in lost salary. Rivers was suspended for two games and fined $10,000, with another $21,830 in lost salary.
Two other Knicks, John Starks and Anthony Mason, were fined $7,500, and another seven Knicks were fined $500 each. The team was fined $50,000.
Sun's forward Jerrod Mustaf was fined $10,500 and guard Danny Ainge $7,500. Seven other Suns were fined $500 each and the team was fined $25,000.
Neither Knicks' star Patrick Ewing nor Suns' star Charles Barkley were fined in the brawl.
Robert Parish putting a one-two-three on Bill Laimbeer during the '87 Eastern Conference Finals, and Darryl Dawkins swinging at Bob Gross and accidentally tattooing his teammate Doug Collins in Game Two of the '77 Finals.
..Doug Christie and Rick Fox...
