They aren't booing, they're saying "bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce"
It noticed the fans booing the spurs for most of the game vs the spurs crowd that is more classy and melow . Why are the new orleans people so ghetto towards us after san antonio opened its doors for them during the katrina crisis?![]()
They aren't booing, they're saying "bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce"
ahhh shut the up with the nonsense about your "Class". You have none just like us and this message board proves it. the difference is that we are more vocal about it at the games unlike your boring ass crowd.
They are newbies to all this. They are excited to get out of the first round for the first time ever.
After attending games 1 and 2, I can tell you that the booing has been very loud. However, it hasn't been about a "class". The first real time this started was the last regular season home game v. the Spurs. Bowen did something the fans didn't like, the "boos" came out, and it seemed to energize the Hornets who proceeded to go on a run. The fans continued to do it to opposing teams the rest of the season.
This has nothing to do with being grateful about Katrina or not, just some fans trying to give their team an edge. I personally would much rather some idiot next to me booing than those beat sticks or whatever they are called. The wave in football games is equally terrible.
Good luck in game 5.
classless people on every side.
It's not just at y'all. It started a month or so ago and they would usually do it in the 4th quarter against whoever we were playing when they other team had the ball. For the first like, 7 or 8 games they did this, we dominated the 4th and the other team had a ton of turnovers. In the playoffs they have done it every quarter. It's a lot like college team's home crowds when the visitors have the ball.
At least they got farther on the first try than T-Mac and the Rockets have in about a decade!
I think everyone has covered it. We have been booing when every team has had the ball for months now. It's worked, so we stuck with it.
BTW, since when is booing at a sporting event classless? You know what is classless? Calling a city classless, or bringing up Katrina is classless.
To be honest, our crowd is at times too mellow..
Hornet fans are pretty fired up about being in the playoffs, but
when this is your first time at playoff success, you do tend to cheer a
little bit louder.
Just giving a little bit of props to the hornet fans for getting behind their
team.
However, if they act like the Sonic fans from 2005 where Duncan was hurt on
a play and the Seattle fans cheered because of it, then yes that would be
pretty classless.
Just like last year in Phoenix. thiose people booed the out of the Spurs every possession too. Nothing new here. The crowd is just booing the boos they're supposed to boo.
