The only reason I'm kinda having an OK day is due to the fact I went to the Orioles game and 1) got to see a homerun derby. And 2) got to see the Orioles win in the bottom of the 11th. But it still sucks major balls don;t get me wrong.....
I'm not as pissed as I thought I would be today. Even the Laker trolls aren't bothering me right now. I guess I'm having a REALLY good day or something. Oh well...

Slow day at work so i can post here a bit about this and my day basically sucks. I hate the Lakers and hate the fact that Manu had to be so ineffective in this series and our last best shot to repeat is going out the ing window.

Not that mad, either. I didn't think the Silver & Black were going to win after about midway through the 3d quarter of Game 2. So it's had a few days to sink in.
only reason i'm not as upset is the fact that my girl and i had some crazy, hot, steaming sex in the backseat of my rental car last night after the game... spurs might had lost but i pounded her LA ass all night long.
i think i jinxed my spurs dating a chick from LA. i had her say GO SPURS GO before game3 but not game4... gotta get her to say it again for game5 i suppose.
ps: leg cramps suck when youre in the backseat with no room to stretch.

I have always said that I can live with certain losses and this is one of them. We had opportunities to win but didn't do enough to secure the victory. We played our a$$es off and we had supreme effort throughout the entire game. The lakers deserved to win this game and the series if that is the way it ends. Don't get me wrong it sucks BUT we have won 3in the last 3 years... Our run was never going to run forever but I feel we have a couple of more shots to win one more.

It probably doesn't hurt as much because the Lakers are legitimately a better team than the Spurs at this stage of the playoffs. Blame it on fatigue all you want, the Lakers have been outplaying the Spurs.

I'm not as disappointed in the team as I am in the FO. I knew there would be an eventual final stop for the "old train". I wondered whether this season would be that last stop. Like everyone else, I wanted a back-2-back. Since that is now unlikely, my fear is that Pop and the FO will still bring back the same cast of reserves next season.
I came to terms with the Spurs' demise a few days ago. We'll reload and have a slight chance to take the le back from the Lakers next year.
