There is NO way the NBA would have approved a move if Seattle had stepped up and taken care of the Sonics like they did their other two teams. Seattle F'd up, tried to play hardball, and lost.

Um, Seattle and Utah are both currently in the NW division. The probably won't change it since that division is already scattered to and back, timezone-wise (Portland/Seattle - PST Utah/Denver - MST Minny - CST).

I know of no other business that expects the public to pay for their accomodations. I remember the days of Downtown Freddy Brown, Slick Watts, DJ, Gus Williams and Jack Sikma. Sonics fans are hard-core fans. They deserve better than this.
