He has to be the obvious choice...

He's been the best celtics player...most consistent, most clutch.

Pierce WAS the reason Celtics won tonight:

    - his and 1 in the third Q sparked the comeback
    - his D on Kobe was awesome

If Boston wins, they might still give it to Kobe.

I think that's only happened one other time with Jerry West.

    Amen

I don't think KG would mind, after his 1st rnd choke jobs for how many yrs. he'll sure be happy just holding a trophy if they can win the LOB.

Powe did an amazing job too.

Leaning towards Ray Allen right now. I won't cast a vote until the final game.

Wasn't that a 7 game series though? It'd be pretty hard to justify an MVP from a team that loses the series 4-1 or 4-2.

Forget Ray Allen. Paul Pierce is the reason they're in this position in the first place. Without Paul Pierce stepping up, the C's don't get by my boys in the second round.

I've gained respect for Paul I didn't have before. He's the straw that stirs that drink. And as of now, he deserves the Finals MVP.

LA paps did an embarrasing video of Pierce who had a night out before game 3. As if he was out all night visited the nite spots and lacked sleep that's why they lost that game

okay beautiful people of Los Angeles you can go to sleep now.

Pierce will probably get it almost solely because of his injury shenanigans but clearly he overreacted to a very minor injury in that first game, and tried to play off another one again tonight. If he has a big game and they win on Sunday, then he will probably get it unanimously, but if he doesn't Allen has a shot at it too.
