Suns And Clippers Talking Barbosa Trade?
Jun 24, 2008 9:57 AM EST
The Suns and Clippers are reportedly discussing a deal that would send the No. 7 pick and Corey Maggette to Phoenix for the No. 15 selection and Leandro Barbosa, according to ESPN.com.
The deal can only be approved if Maggette decides not to opt out of his contract. If he does decide to opt out, he cannot be signed-and-trade until mid-July.

Why would the Clipps trade Maggette for a overpriced erratic SG AND move down 8 spots to the #15...if Phoenix pulls that off...wow
Exactly what I said on the Suns board. . . but they don't get it. . .
The Suns are in a few trade rumors that I hope don't happen. Especially this one.
Not sure what the Clippers are thinking here unless they have something else in the works.
i saw/talked with Barbosa in Vegas. Cool Dude, very nice.
Wow... the Suns are Kobe and the Clippers Katelyn in that scenario.
Dumb trade for the clippers, good for the Suns.
This would be more amazing then when Kerr came in to knock 4 3-pointers against Dallas in game 6 of the 2003 Western Conference Finals for the series clinching win...
In fact, this would be the most monumental thing Kerr has done since he "bailed out Jordan" on a double-team in the 1997 Finals...
of a trade for the Suns if they can pull it off.
Pretty scary honestly if they do.
if this deal goes thru, clippers remain one of the worst managed franchises out there.
Might happen, but it wont. why would they want to strengthen a division rival? only the spurs are allowed to do that kind of stupid move.
