mp3s pretty much eliminated greatest hits albums for me.
True, I make my own greatest hits mixes but I have to agree on that first U2. I hate all new U2.
best and underrrated are totally different things

good point. I.e. Colt might be the best college qb but he is def not underrated
but Tim Tebow is the best and the most overrated at the same time
Just as Radiohead is probably the most overrated underrated band in the history of music

did someone really just say the eagles' greatest hits is underrated? 1971-75 has sold over 40 million copies. If I'm not mistaken, its the best selling album in American history.
R.E.M.'s Eponymous is a great sampler of their early stuff, and even includes improved versions of "Radio Free Europe" and "Gardening at Night." Highly recommended.
