Lacob said they're going to be really aggressive this offseason for whatever that's worth.
They'll have plenty of cap, thanks to Klay and Curry's cap friendly salaries. Ezeli, Bogut, Barnes, Speights are off the books. These guys will command a hefty price tag under the new CBA. Should Lacob and Kerr bring back the same unit for continuity?

They lost in a game 7 in the Finals, despite Curry probably playing on 1 knee(although he is injury prone, so an injury is always a decent possibility with him)..
Barnes is garbage, but they should still bring him back if they can't get Durant..
Bogut is probably finished, though, they'll need to find a replacement..would they risk taking a cancer like Dwight and would he acccept being benched for stretches?
and i assume they won't match for Ezeli..they need young, reliable bigs who rim-protect and rebounds..they have gotten killed on the boards...
Get #35.
Ezeli's stock went down so quickly
Especially after seeing what Biyombo did against the same Cavs team..
They captured lightning in a bottle for two seasons with continuity. If they break up some of those players they're gonna have some roadblocks to getting back to the mountain top.
What do you think of Batum replacing Barnes?
Yeah, I don't see why not. 73 win team.
If they can upgrade their SF position, they should easily be heavy favourites next year. I wonder if the miss out on Durant and Barnes signs somewhere else..if they would go for somone like Batum.
they should go after whiteside instead of durant
Would be a great fit with his passing ability and length..kind of scary, actually, since he would add a 3rd passing option to the Curry and Thompson screen game..
Bogut is NOT off the books. Barnes and Ezeli are both RFA. It's likely they run it back once more - too risky to dump Iggy or Bogut for a chance at Durant only to lose out and lose a defensive anchor. Need to use that cap space while Barnes and Ezeli have reasonable holds if they're in fact going to hold onto them.
Batum is interesting as it makes Barnes expendable while giving some of Iggy's D.
They have said they want Kevin Durant
Barnes would be gone and some depth
But curry is injury prone
Roadblocks
Would humble them and they would not act like the other Team will roll over
Batum is most likely not leaving Charlotte. He wants to stay there and likes his role in their system. He only leaves if they are not willing to pay him.
they can always add that mormon player if they need another sharp shooter
People kinda need to understand that the Warriors window is pretty much shutting, and they have one more possible year of strong contention. Barnes and Ezeli are gonna get paid by someone. This year, Curry was the fifth highest paid player on the Warriors roster. Fifth!. Klay, Green, Bogut, Iggy all were paid more than him. Next season, Curry contract goes about a million higher than Iggy, making Curry the 4th highest player, not counting if they are willing to match Barnes and Ezeli contract. Then they are gonna have to pay Curry a deserving contract in 2017 off season. Bogut and Iggy game is declining. It is very much possible the Warriors may lose up to 4 rotational key players in less than 2 years time. They simply cannot pay everyone. if they miss on drafts and trades, you just losing too much.
