I think he's definitely top 10.
And I'd say Lebron is more of a small forward than shooting guard. So I'd take him out and put in Michael Redd, not necessarily in his place.
Some people may call this Homerism but I think Joe Johnson is a Top 10 Shooting Guard in this league. Every time I hear about elite Sg's I never hear anything about him maybe its because he plays for the Hawks, or because he is not flashy, or maybe because he has a silent nature. This guy never gets much credit, his ballhandling is stellar, his decision making is good, his shooting is very good, he's a good passer, he's clutch, and even when we sucked big time he never complained or threw teammates under the bus he just worked hard. This guy is elite. Here is my list of the Top 10 Sg's in the league:
1. Kobe Bryant
2. Lebron James
3. Tracy McGrady
4. Allen Iverson
5. Joe Johnson
6. Manu Ginobili
7.Rip Hamilton
8.Dwyane "quit" Wade
9.Vince Carter(?)
10. Jason Richardson.
Now do you guys think Joe Johnson is a top 10 SG or do you think Im being a homer? And you can also argue with my list if you want.

nah man
1. Kobe Bryant
2. Dwayne Wade
3. Manu Ginobili
4. Tracy Mcgrady
5. Allen Iverson
6. Joe Johnson
7. Richard Hamilton
8. Jason Richardson
9. Michael Redd
10. Monta Ellis
Definately top 10, borderline top 5. One of the most underrated players in the league IMO, he's pretty well rounded. And proved to be clutch in the first round against the Celtics.
Manu at number 3 is definately being a homer.
Kobe
Wade(healthy)
TMac(healthy)
Iverson
Johnson
Ginobili
Redd
Allen
Hamilton
Carter(?? ran out of ideas)
What makes Wade and Ginobili better than Joe Johnson? First off I expect to get bashed for this but I think Joe Johnson is better than Manu. And im not even biased I love Manu's game, I love watching him play but this is my opinion. And I think Joe Johnson is WAAAY better than Dwyane Quit. His shooting is way better than D-quit, he is better suited to play at Sg than D-quit is, His passing is way better than D-Fail, how can Dwyane Wade be better than him?
good points but its not about raw talent. its about making your team better and getting them the W's.
Manu has proved time and time again that he can lead his team to victory. he has not only done it in the NBA, but has won olympic gold as well.
Kobe is obviously #1, but DWADE is #2 cause when healthy he can be the best player in the game. no doubt.
LOL, D-quit led his team to the worst record in the Nba last season.![]()
1. Kobe Bryant
2. Tracy McGrady
3. Dwyane Wade
4. Allen Iverson
5. Joe Johnson
6. Vince Carter
7. Jason Richardson
8. Rip Hamilton
9. Manu Ginobili
10. Michael Redd
Oh yeah I forgot about Michael Redd, im not sure if he's Top 10 though to be honest...
i think we all knew he was hurt and not at 100% last year.
I think he is definitely top 10. Underrated.
D-quit is better at sleeping with the refs and getting all the whistles he wants. He's also better at dating old ugly women
Sorry but I don't believe it, I know he was hurt but I think he exaggerated how hurt he was. He kept crying about both his shoulder and then his knee, I lost alot of respect for that guy. I feel like he quit on his team, which is why I call him D-quit.
no one ever knows how much pain someone feels until youre in thier shoes.
Well it would be easier for me to believe him if I didn't think he was a huge flopper, you make a good point though.
Brandon Roy should be on that list.
Now that's homer talk.
I don't think it's homerism to put him in the top 10, but top 5 is a push.
