3 all stars isn't enough, we need a bench
Yall act like we don't have three all stars. Like we don't have the experience. Like we don't have a piece of mind.
Everybodys acting like we are a below .500 team already. When and if that happens next fall, then commence the negativity.
We already have an improved team with our new players.
For now, just believe in our team.

Even more to your point, the longest drought the Spurs have had between rings has been 3 years....we're only on year one. Not that Father Time isn't creeping up and the West hasn't gotten a bit tougher, but we have time to re-tool....the season hasn't even started yet and the offseason is still in effect.
no. the spurs not only lost in the playoffs, they lost in the draft and now are losing in the free agency market.
that sucks...next thing you know.. peter holt will be praying for a lottery ball.
a thread about pessimists and my point is proven so quickly
This thread makes me laugh. The Spurs are done if they don’t get another scorer. How could you believe in an aging team that goes through ridiculous offensive droughts? This year’s Spurs team wasn't as good as the previous Spurs teams. It had too many players that were ing done. JR SMITH OR GET THE FORK OUT!
my point is it is too early to see what happens. When is the trade deadline? (rhetorical for the slow ones)
i like your quote.
It should be obvious to anyone who actually WATCHED the playoff series versus the Fakers that the Spurs NEED more consistent scoring. Obviously, Maggette would've addressed the need for a 4th scorer. Which would've alleviated some of the burden on the Big Three.
That's not pessimism, that's fact. Now they'll simply have to look elsewhere.
We need youth.
If Corey goes to GS and Brand goes to Philly, then one could see how it limits what other free agents will be able to get. It could even the playing field somewhat with less big spenders on the market. Of course we still have to convince a FA to want to come here.
I wonder about Corey's sincerity in coming here. It seems like playing the Spurs card is a great way to drive up your value, for some reason.
