7 points and 4 assists if we're lucky.
I say he averages close to 12 pts a game
6 rbs a game
and is better than most thought he ever would be.
7 points and 4 assists if we're lucky.
6 rebounds a game
how many minutes you think he is going to play?
will avg 18 min a game
8/2/1
How about a carbon copy of one Speedy Claxton circa 2003. Pop got a legit backup PG, who can maybe run the two with Tony on the floor.
George Hill = future Michael Redd![]()
15 mpg
6.9 ppg
1.6 rpg
2.3 apg
I am starting to rethink this George Hill thing.
I don't think he will play at all.
6 and 2.5 in 15 minutes a game - same as Speedy did when he was here. (Hopefully!)
I believe he can do it...I really do. I saw couple of his tapes....if he really working on his shoot with Coach Chip....its a done deal. By the way, did u guys notice how he try to break down defense and lay up,it reminds me of Tony Parker but in a slower and inexperienced way. I guess this is reason why Pop choose him, apart that he;s from unknown school which hopefully make him work harder since he is the first ever from his school to enter NBA
4-2-1...I think eventually he will end up playing himself out of the rotation and suffer a Beno fate.
Something like 5 and 3 a night.
16 mpg
5.8 ppg
2.5 apg
1.4 to
2.3 rpg
He will start off slow not getting alot of mins but as the season progresses I think 16 mpg....6.5ppg....2apg...2.5rpg
According to the pre-draft scouting reports Hill was primarily a SG in college and has some way to go in developing decision making and ball handling skills necessary for a NBA PG.
If true, I find it doubtful that Pop will give him a lot of minutes as a rookie PG unless he becomes one of those rare draftees that immediately show a NBA skill set that wasn't developed in college.
I don't think he'll get more than 5-10 minutes a game and maybe 5 ppg average with a couple of rebounds.
Those scouting reports could find something wrong with Jesus!!!! He is a combo G much in the same way as Chalmers was........He destroyed Chalmers in workouts from what I hear....and played well at the point in Orlando.....He may never be a true point but is tony parker? The guy can play and is a very good defender on ball can create steals something we dont have right not.........I am still up in the air on why we took him over Chalmers but......I know Lakers did all they could to get a pick late in the first round to early second to get Hill......He will be fine as long as he protects the ball cause turnovers will get him benched ask Beno!
Where did you read that the Lakers were interested in Hill? Do you have a link?
What? Now that you've seen him play and stuff?
Now that the Spurs have signed Robert Mason...
I'm beginning to believe Portland really did do a number on the Spurs by getting the Rockets to draft Batum.
All this talk about Hill being their pick all along and how Pops believes he's going to play minutes from the start. Why sign Mason then?
Hill and Mason are two totally different players. It will be interesting to follow how this plays out...we need to see them playing in the Spurs system first so it's hard to say what minutes will be given just yet.
