I don't know anything about either player.
We all know PHX is creaming all over themselves about the potential of adding Goran Dragic to their roster for '09-'10 season. Granted, he's got big issues offensively, but appears to be an absolute stud on the defensive side.

Meanwhile, George Hill is showing his stuff during SL for the Spurs and will be expected to fill the role as primary backup for TP.

All that said, I'm curious to hear from everyone on this hypothetical question:
Which player will become the more productive NBA player?
Which player is more of an ideal fit for the Spurs?
Forget about contractual issues, draft positions and such. This is a purely hypothetical question.

Hill = Tony
Goran = Beno
Go figure.
I don't forget contractual issues !
He will play with Tiago Splitter next year !
George Hill will play with Tim Duncan next year !
Dragic has good size for a pg, but his D is very overrated. He has only avg speed and struggles with quick pgs.....But he is more of a true pg than hill.
Hill fits better because the spurs will be able to run the same sets with Hill as they do with parker, something they couldnt do with Vaughn.
Both players will struggle at first but Hill will be the better pro, Dragic could get more pub because in Phx he could likely be an 12ppg 8apg guy on a running team.
Dragic gave TP trouble
This is so Tragic for the Suns. ha ha![]()
If this is really your opinion, then you donīt know about basketball.
Go figure.
Beno = Marco Jaric (but smarter than Jaric when it comes to team cheerleaders)
Hill = Raja Bell -- the Spurs regretted letting him go and Hill seems like a clone (hopefully)
Dragic is WAY BETTER than that "no-name" player the spurs drafted (Hill).
the spurs will regret trading that Slovenian Kid to the Suns just like when spurs fans were crying about the Barbosa trade.
Since the Spurs needed someone this year, Hill's clearly the better draft pick for them. Since the Spurs got Hairston for free thanks to Dragic, they couldn't have done that much better.
I know you don't understand anything about how basketball works, but the Spurs didn't trade anyone, they traded picks. NBA rules require that teams make each other's picks and then trade the players. The Spurs didn't want Baboso and didn't want Dragic. That "no-name" player was coveted by the two teams that made the Finals, btw. Good luck having Nash playing too many minutes again because your team couldn't get their draft pick to stay in town.![]()
