I moved this because it's not really worth being in the Spurs forum to note that a team signed their first round pick.
Highly unlikely. Batum isn't ready to get significant minutes yet. The Blazers like his potential very much though. They just didn't want to see him get signed by a team like Tau Ceramica.
Batum wanted to sign this year, Blazers wanted to let him rot in Europe.
It isn't a good way to start your NBA career with a team that didn't want you.
Anyway, good luck to him, I hope he will enjoy playing in Siberia aka Boise.
