The Utah Jazz announced today that the team has acquired veteran point guard Brevin Knight from the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for guard Jason Hart. Originally selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round (16th overall pick) of the 1997 NBA Draft, Knight (5-10, 170, Stanford) has appeared in 655 career regular season games (423 starts) over 11 NBA seasons with Cleveland, Atlanta, Memphis, Phoenix, Washington, Milwaukee, Charlotte and the Clippers, owning career averages of 7.9 points, 6.6 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.77 steals per game. He appeared in 74 games (39 starts) this past season with the Clippers, averaging 4.6 points, 4.4 assists and 1.35 steals in 22.6 minutes. Knight ranked second in the NBA in assists-per-turnover (4.62), and third in steals per turnover (2.87).

While Knight is a definite upgrade over Hart for the Jazz, I dont see him as anything close to a Fisher type
talk about making trades just to make em.
i know
Good move. We save about $500,000 and get a better player to back up DWill. Ason Fart was a joke of a PG and his at ude was terrible. So long Ason.
I've always liked Brevin Knight, but the energy boost Price gives us is off the charts. So come the end of training camp I hope Price is still our backup.
Thank God we did something to get that malcontent hack off our roster though. Fart sucked in every way imaginable.
i see your point. knight is the fisher type in that hes an upgrade on D and while it doesnt appear hes the vocal leader, he's never been in trouble and has performed wherever he has been
Jason Hart?
The same Jason Hart that played for the Spurs?
a malcontent!??! bad at ude?
I didn't hear that...
I dont see anyone gaining anything in this trade.
