Good quote.
Great sig.
" If your not 18-29 years old and not a Democrat, then you have no heart! ... If your not over the age of 30 and a Republican, then you have no brain! "
such truth sons
Good quote.
Great sig.
Your sigs feature some of the nicest asses.
that quote came from a girl they call bubbarina.
So...anyone under the age of 18 or over the age of 29 has to be a Democrat to have heart? And Republicans under the age of 30 have no brain?
, I agree with that.![]()
...sure explains the kook factor....And Republicans under the age of 30 have no brain?
this mangled quote makes xray's ramblings look cogent by comparison. good job.
It's a quote from Churchill originally.
"If you are 20 and not liberal, you have no heart, 40 and not conservative, you have no brain." (paraphrasing)
Yep, the first posting is off.
I was surprised the first reply was in agreement.
I couldnt make ass or tail of the double-double negative logic.
Ahhh, much better."If you are 20 and not liberal, you have no heart, 40 and not conservative, you have no brain." (paraphrasing)
The quote is a quip from Churchill. One major difference is Winston understood the difference between "your" and "you're." Another is that he wouldn't have considered Bush a conservative.
"Clever sayings don't prove anything" -Voltaire
Great Quote,
Great Hussein sig, but I miss the chick.

The quote was completely mangled,
the sig makes no sense at all,
and I'm sure it won't be long before someone else posts a photo of McCain wearing a Nazi uniform or a large adult Depends diaper to retaliate. And then from there, the level of discourse will get more and more childish.

I've gotten more liberal as I've gotten older. I used to be really uptight (like most young republicans) in high school and college.
'"Pot, I set up a play date for you and one of the neighbor kids."
"Oh, here he is now, it's kettle."
"Kettle, much like yourself is also naive, condescending, young, and sort of stupid. He believes pretty much the opposite of everything you tell him because he cannot fathom that his life is truly as pathetic as it seems and there must be something "else" pulling all these strings that result in him being such a tremendous jackass."
"You two are gonna get along great."
Same here. Most of my family is Republican, so that basically made me a Republican as well. I was a member of the Young Republicans in college. I despised Clinton and actually voted for Bob Dole in 1996. In 2000, I voted for Nader, but supported Bush over Gore. My at udes and perspectives changed as I finished my education and started working.
Barry Goldwater, who was instrumental in the modern conservative movement, became more liberal as he got older. Clinton, as he got older, became much more of a moderate (or pragmatic) Democrat. I think there is a tendency to become less extreme as one ages.
