This is getting insane. I mean, he's on an absolute unbelievable streak right now. This has got to be Federer's worst nightmare.

Major props to Rafa and his coaching staff. Whatever the heck they did this offseason to train him for 08 has worked out beautifully. I always knew he was a great player, but I never thought he'd be this great and dominating on all surfaces.

It has been an incredible year for him, indeed. I'd always hoped he would eventually overtake Roger (as much as I like Roger), but I didn't think it would happen so soon this year. He is a special talent. I just hope the past few months of grueling tennis wouldn't derail him in the US Open.

^You know what, I expected him to get derailed after the Wimbleton match. But he went on to win a Masters, almost make it in the Toronto Masters I believe, and did the unthinkable and went on to win the Gold at the Olympics this year. I keep waiting for him to get tired/injured as he does every year, but I just don't see it happening. Honestly, I would be surprised if he wins either/both US and Aussie Open at this point and time.

The only problem I have with Rafa is I still think he's just having an incredible run. Federer did what Rafa did this year, practically for 4 years. Can you imagine Rafa continuing to play this way for the next 3 years?
