    OMG. congratulations!!!

    How many times our country hosted women's volleyball tournament before? I saw the Brazilians, one of my favorites, the Chinese, but I really think the U.S. has the best players in volleyball-men & esp. women-probably an all-time best.


    Kerri Walsh(the shot-blocker), and Misty May-Treanor have just won their second consecutive gold medal in beach volleyball, playing through a steady rain to beat Wang Jie and Tian Jia of China, 21-18, 21-18.

    It was a good match. Misty and Kerri are now at the pinnacle of the sport and have been for a while. They are by far the best women's volleyball team ever, maybe even the best volleyball team ever. I don't know if they could beat the top men but they would give them a of a game.

    They have both now won over 100 matches in a row. I don't know if we'll ever see such dominance again.

    Beach Volleyball has been my favorite sport to watch outside of the basketball. Its been awesome.
