I'll do the ass to mouth scenes for ya.
I always wanted to join the San Antonio film festival. They allow movies from 5 minutes to 45 minutes long. You need a camera and I think 400.00 dollars.
All I have is the movie scripts. I tried to get Bigzax to lend me his camera but after two years I need to move on.
Anyone here have any info on the movie making business or want to help me out?

What kind of movie do you want to make? Comedy? Drama? Experimental? Homemade porn?
If you're talking about pitching a movie as in pitching to a studio then LA is the place to be. And you better know someone who knows someone who's neighbor knows the janitor guy who has the keys to to get you in the executive's office backdoor. But if you want to make an indie film on your own there are a lot of resources. Mainly - your pocketbook.
I work with several people who produce their own indie films and there is a variety of strategies they use to promote their films. The most popular is the film festival circuit. It's a gamble but you never know. Finding inverstors is another area altogether.
My best advice is to check places like the SA Film Commission or NALIP (National Association of Latino Independent Producers). They often have film forums and workshops that talk about a variety of issues.
I went to the CineFestival film festival last month at the Guadalupe Theatre and attended one of their seminars called "Promoting Your Film". Basically, it was led by Pablo Veliz. He is a 23 year old film maker who's shoestring budget indie film got rejected at every film festival in Texas. He then sent it to Sundance and it got selected. Now everyone is kissing his ass.
Hope this helps. Just keep your eyes open and good luck with the porn...........

Bro, I should hang out with you. My movies are only $5-10 million.
Tonight there was a group called Short Ends Project that screened their stuff at the Bijou over at Wonderland. They're all shorts and some are good and some not so good. But it's a local group of filmmakers trying to do stuff and put it up on the big screen. I didn't go 'cause i've already seen them all but i'll probably go to the next one. I'll let you know.

Mouse - you have to decide if you're a movie writer or a movie-maker.
If I were you, I'd be looking for the technique of writing a script. Seems that's the stage you're at now. From all I understand, a movie idea itself is only useful if you're attached to a studio or an established producer. What you need to do is transfer these ideas into something concrete - a script. Learn how to write one and you'll have something to pitch. The idea - well, it's not worth anything right now.
Of course, once you have a script, you'll be in a group of 1000s with one.
Perhaps Gameface will comment on this.

I asked Chris Duel a year back if he could give me some advise about a movie script since he went to film school at USC and claims to be a huge mouse fan and he never replied.
PM LEONARD...he owns a movie service.

Okay if you are really interested in this and you have a script, send it to me, I have somewhat of a friendship with David Carradine and Michael Madsen, but this will be a three stage process, you have to mail it to me, i have to review it, if i think it has potential and won't embarass me I wiil send it to another friend who is closer with both of them and have him review it, he also has some producer credits to his name if he likes it he will forward it to either David or Madsen and will go from there.
I would never just send directly to David or Michael, it would make me look really unprofessional they get scripts thrown in their faces everywhere they go when they are doing appearances and what not.
Also if you haven't read some books on screenwriting and this is just some chicken scratch on napkins please don't waste your time.
Why does it cost 400.00?
Ever try public access?
I looked into the movie pitching and screen writing business and even if you know what your doing the chances of you getting noticed are very slim.
I have a hard time making a resume I would never be a script writer it is to complicated. here is a small example of how the scrips look.
INT. FITTS HOUSE - RICKY'S BEDROOM - NIGHT
On VIDEO: JANE BURNHAM lays in bed, wearing a tank top. She's
sixteen, with dark, intense eyes.
JANE
I need a father who's a role model, not
some horny geek-boy who's gonna spray his
shorts whenever I bring a girlfriend home
from school.
(snorts)
What a lame-o. Somebody really should put
him out of his misery.
Her mind wanders for a beat.
RICKY (O.C.)
Want me to kill him for you?
Jane looks at us and sits up.
JANE
(deadpan)
Yeah, would you?
FADE TO BLACK.
FADE IN:
EXT. ROBIN HOOD TRAIL - EARLY MORNING
We're FLYING above suburban America, DESCENDING SLOWLY toward
a tree-lined street.
LESTER (V.O.)
My name is Lester Burnham. This is my
neighborhood. This is my street. This...
is my life. I'm forty-two years old. In
less than a year, I'll be dead.
INT. BURNHAM HOUSE - MASTER BEDROOM - CONTINUOUS
We're looking down at a king-sized BED from OVERHEAD:
LESTER BURNHAM lies sleeping amidst expensive bed linens,
face down, wearing PAJAMAS. An irritating ALARM CLOCK RINGS.
Lester gropes blindly to shut it off.
LESTER (V.O.)
Of course, I don't know that yet. He
rolls over, looks up at us and sighs. He
doesn't seem too thrilled at the prospect
of a new day.
(CONTINUED)
There are many Dos and Don't s unfortunately I have no connections in the movie business, and I can't seem to get anyone to help write a book for me for less than 30,000.00 (the going rate for ghost writers)
I even stooped as low as to ask pooh for help and he gave me the Chris Duel treatment.
It's really a shame since 98% of my is 10 times better than what you see on the big screen.
They have a movie team they pair you up with. If you have four in your group it's only 100.00 each. They give you a subject and a time limit and you report back with your film. Then they judge it and see if its worthy of showing it.
You can see more about it in the SA life section of the paper or the weekender on Fridays.
I borrowed BigZax's camcorder to do a do entary on last comic standing and I sent it in and never got a response. Bigzax upon my arrival back to San Antonio immediately asked for the camera back. I guess he felt I might pawn it.
I asked to use it once more but he said a friend of his has had it for over two years.
I wanted to use it for only 1/2 a day to make an audition tape for big Brother.
Hey can you tell him I have a TV idea about an Asian monk priest that walks through the desert and goes to different towns back in the cowboy era and uses martial arts to kick ass?
hey how did you meet him?
I won't waste your time or embarrass you with my poor 3rd class home made scripts. But I will do this. I will give you one of the movie ideas you pass it along to him as a gift if he likes it then maybe he will want to meet me. I am sure he has the connections to get someone to write the scrip in a professional manor.
I know my is Oscar material so I have no problem sacrificing any of my ideas if it means at least I get credit for one or two of them.
you or him can use email or phone. And I will sign any do ents releasing me of any rights to the films.
I have no doubts after he reads a few lines he will want to meet the man behind the magic.
Or you can do the hard part and get the person to write it up and we go 3 ways on the project.
The problem is the movies,songs,inventions,etc.... have many websites where you give them your info and sometimes you pay big money for them to steal your .
Unless your like this heath ledger person and you know someone, or if you have photos of Tom Cruise doing coke your almost expected to fail.
According to this link you missed the August 15th deadline.

any ladies in here wanna appear in milfhunter?
Here is a photo of tony parker making his music video.

Unfortunately there is no place where the common person can take a rough script and have it looked at for less than 500.00 dollars. I can see why people get desperate. But how would you like to be the person who writes No country for old men and can't get anyone to listen to you?
I know how the celebs love their privacy as a waiter at Club Giraud here in San Antonio I got to meet many people from Hollywood James Cann, Tommy Lee Jones etc and most of them are assholes in person.
The last thing they want is some pot smoking midget bugging them about a movie script.
Already have.
I'll help you but only if I can direct. I could use an Oscar in my empty trophy case.
Back when Kill Bill 2 was still red hot, i was working for a company who was selling Kill Bill sword replicas, they were selling like hotcakes, and i thought hmm i wonder if i could get David Carradine to sign some swords for us, so i approached my boss and he said go for it. I found out David was attending dragon con in atlanta which was by us in Marietta, so i sent an email to the show asking if they could put us in touch with David's people, they forwarded me his friend Jay's email address and within about aweek i had met them for the first time. I eventually left the company over a pay dispute and went back in business for myself while still having this connection. Since then ive met david 10 or 12 times at various conventions and shows and ive done quite a bit of traveling with him, even to the UK for a week. Ive been to his house 4 times as well as Michael Madsen's house twice. I have both of their home phone #'s and David's cell # however i dont abuse the privellage. When i call David its to discuss business normally but i did call him to wish him a happy new year on new years day. David thinks highly enough of me that hes done video commercials for my sites for free. I regularly talk to his friend Jay who i am doing this poster site with.
