After spending months attacking the tiniest shred of relationship between Obama and a wing-nut spun Reverand Wright video, why isn't the corporate media giving equal attention to Palin and her group of Armageddon fanatics?

Keep reaching dan. Until they start going on racist, anti-American rants like Obama's Pastor does, it's not even in the same ball park.

I'm not a part of the Assemblies of God denomination - but this video is really unfair to born again christians in every denomination.

But you know what dan - we christians don't really care what people like you think of us. God's opinion is what matters. The bible says that to those who don't believe, the ways of God are foolishness; and it also says to expect persecution. After all, they persecuted our Lord, why should we as his followers expect any less?

Oh, and as for the Rev Wright comments - it's because the Rev Wright was and is very clearly racist - that's what all the flak was about. And it wasn't just a shread of relationship between Wright and Obama - Obama sat under his ministry for 20 years!

You clearly have no intention of watching Wright's comments objectively, you are blinded by your own bias, your own ignorace, your own racial intolerace....

I've heard his rants time and time again. And when he calls us the US of KKK and screams "God damn America" from the pulpit over and over again - I don't think I need to be objective.

Meh... she's not pentecostal. She left the Pentescotal Church because she thought they were too radical.

Alaskan evangelicalism is... how can I say it.. it has a very libertarian stance.

The problem with Obama and Rev. Wright, from my point of view, is that Obama had really close ties to him. He's like a fatherly figure, a spiritual guide. Obama offered him a formal position on his campaign and thanked him in his speeches.

And even after those sermons came out, he refused to disown him.

    Very different situations.

What matters me most is this:

"Instead, after she knocked off an in bent amid an influence-peddling scandal linked to the oil industry, Palin pursued a populist agenda that toughened ethics rules and raised taxes on oil and gas companies. And she did so while relying on Democratic votes in the Legislature.
"She has governed from the center," says Rebecca Braun, author of Alaska Budget Report, a non-partisan political newsletter. "She has in some small ways supported her religious views — for example, proposing money to continue the office of faith-based and community initiatives — but she has actually been con uously absent on social issues. She came in with a big oil and gas agend"
    http://www.usatoday.com/news/politic...in-cover_N.htm

That's what I think the US needs. Keep the capitalism, get rid of the corporatism and rent-seekers. On social issues, hands off. Let the people decide, not the courts nor the politicians.

There you go with that buzzword "ignorance." Tell me NbaDan, what are we ignorant of? As for racial intolerance, I pray for my brothers in the Sudan who are under constant threat from the Arab slave traders or the Christians in Oriya state in India who are getting their houses torched. It is you who is narrow-minded.

Because she doesn't claim a racist pastor was her "Mentor" for 20 years!
