Very hard decision. I didn't care much for the younger Kobe personality wise but he was damn exciting to watch.
I think I take the older Kobe but it's very close and his personality is much more likeable these days...almost too nice.

Current MVP Kobe is a better basketball player. Three-peat Kobe was more athletic and explosive.
Even though Three-peat Kobe won les, the current MVP Kobe is the better player and is better equipped to lead a team to success. Three-peat Kobe wouldn't be three-peat Kobe without Shaq. So if the team doesn't have a dominating low post guy, the current MVP Kobe is better.
