That sucks.
You heard it here first. Derrick Rose got underneath him on a three a la Bruce Bowen and Deron came down on top of his foot. Looked bad enough to be a broken ankle, probably just a very high and severe sprain. He'll be out for awhile. life.
Damn, you hate to see that happen to a guy like Deron. Hope the dude makes a full recovery.
That sucks bad. Even though I am not a Jazz fan, I would not wish injuries on anyone.![]()
Damn that ing sucks, I wish him the best. I think Deron Williams the best PG in the Nba, its a shame this happened to him.
I hate to see any player go down. I hope he's okay.
Deron Williams leaves in wheelchair
Jazz guard Deron Williams left Saturday's exhibition game against the Bulls on Saturday with a right foot injury after being fouled on a 3-point shot by rookie Derrick Rose.
Williams was carried off the court by two teammates as he grimaced in pain and was then taken to the locker room on a wheelchair. Owners should pray that the wheelchair was precautionary and that this is nothing more than an ankle sprain. We'll know more information on Sunday, but Brevin Knight and Ronnie Price become relevant if the injury is serious.
apart from hating the jazz, Deron Williams and Jerry Sloan have a lot of class. I wish you guys the best of luck and hope Deron is ok, i've always liked him.
Wheelchair? Wow, that's terrible. Good luck D Will.
Wheelchair? Did he separate his shoulder or something?
Deron is a classy kid. I hope it just a sprain.
x-rays were negative. Just a bad sprain. Not sure how long he'll be out but I can guarantee he won't play in the last preseason game.
Derron Williams is a cool player, I hope he gets better quick.
When they say X-rays are negative that means no broken bones and just ligament damage right? I'm guessing you can't tell the true extent without an MRI. Hope he's ok, injuries suck since they often prevent you from seeing the full potential of teams.
Hopefully it's just a bad sprain and he's not out for the year.
oh
I hope Deron is ok.
I wasn't thinking about it like this but you do have a point.
I wonder how this is going to affect the Jazz with less than 2 weeks left before the season starts.
I think theyl struggle to stay at .500 with Deron.
