    Hmmm, granted it's a UK paper, but still...

    It would say a lot about D.C. that both the taxpayers of America and the execs of Wall Street all say it's a stupid plan and tell Congress to F off.

    It's congresses answer to everything - throw money at it and hope the problem goes away...but money ain't gonna loosen the big banks pockets this time...

    the bailout is for them, esp Goldman, how could they be against it?

    the bailout is for them, esp Goldman, how they be against it?
    Because the bailout allegedly limits executive bonuses.
