yeah that was a pretty good card on HBO. Yuriorkis needs to work on his defense and Angulo is someone to keep an eye on.
I am a big boxing fan so I guess I will put in my two cents every now and then with the fights that are coming up. I don't really care for MMA but I am glad those dudes got their own forum.
FYI- Some bad ass fights tomorrow on HBO.
Sergio Martinez vs. Alex Bunema, 12 rounds, for vacant WBC interim junior middleweight le; Yuriorkis Gamboa vs. Marcos Ramirez, 10 rounds, featherweights; Alfredo Angulo vs. Andrey Tsurkan, 10 rounds, junior middleweights; Carlos Abregu vs. Gilberto Quiroga, 10 rounds, welterweights; Alan Velasco vs. Israel Ornelas, 6 rounds, welterweights; Ariz Ambriz vs. Lester Balmores, 6 rounds, junior welterweights; Jonathan Nelson vs. Robert Campbell, 6 rounds, super middleweights; Jesse Vargas vs. Jess Salway, 4 rounds, welterweights
I am curious to see the Yuriorkis-Ramirez fight. I hear that the Cubano is tough but I haven't seen him fight yet.

I watched all 3 fights...Gamboa is WAY too wild right now. He is being bailed out by his punching power. If he ever meets up with a serious counter puncher, he will be in huge trouble...Angulo reminds me of a young Margerito, relentless pressure and a solid chin...I had never heard of Martinez before this fight, he looked good but I don't know how much of it was his opponent being washed up. I would need to see him in there against a real contender before making a judgement on him...
