From that list, the median is exactly 10.4
http://www.realgm.com/src_fromtheraf...the_preseason/
interesting list and yes, i know its only preseason.
notable:
Duncan at 2
parker at 15
bonner at 98
hill at 122 (in front of guys like mayo, foye, durant, BRENT BARRY, and even jkidd)
farmer at 177
malik at 218, and they spelled his last name wrong.
according to realgm the NBA median for per 40 FIC is typically around 10.0 and farmer has 10.5.
From that list, the median is exactly 10.4
JJ Re with a FIC of 16.7? That makes me skeptical of FIC.
How the is Hill ahead of Mayo?
122 George Hill
126 O.J. Mayo
129 Corey Maggette
144 Jacque Vaughn
162 Darrell Arthur
196 Derrick Rose
221 Chris Douglas-Roberts
263 Brandon Rush
268 Mario Chalmers
...maybe the FO does know what it's doing?
according to that list, Roger Mason is the least effective Spur.
and he's ranked pretty far behind darius miles.
statistically mason has been pathetic though. hopefully he picks it up once the season rolls around.
I'm pretty sure it's measured by overall efficiency. While O.J Mayo had some good stat lines, his turnovers or fg percentages might have affected this rating...
I really believe that Hill will be a very good player. People focused on a few bad shooting performances, but even on his worst nights he was still playing great defense and collecting rebounds, steals, blocked shots, assists, etc... I can see him being a serious factor in the '09 playoffs.
Yeah, it must be. There's also a possibility that it's another flawed formula for estimating a player's worth. I definitely hope it's accurate, and that Hill turns out to be better than Mayo, though.
Are you kidding? Mark my words: George Hill = Rookie of the Year
