^I never knew that, its a shame penny had so many injuries he probably could have been a hall of famer. Its also a shame Tmac is following in Penny's footsteps
I'm not 100% sure but I thought TMac wore the #1 jersey because Penny had also worn it for the Magic.
Bummer for penny, he probably could have really been the next Magic Johnson if not for injuries. I was happy when he got to play for phoenix, but at that point he was pretty much used up.
