We got killed by roy. everyone guarding him was giving him too much room to breathe. I thought they shouldof made him drive more.

DO you think Hill could of done a better job?

Don't think it would have mattered. Roy is a good player and he was on. I actually thought Mason did a pretty good job.

he actually took a lot of tough shots..I expect Hill to be a very good defender, but Roy was just on last night..

One of his best traits is his patience. He's also pretty good using his size and strength against smaller defenders. He doesn't have blazing speed, so that's not what you need to defender Roy. If Roy was playing well against Bruce Bowen, I don't think Hill would have done any better.

Roy beat everyone that covered him any way tried to cover him. He can post up, he can power through you, he can speed around you and he can step back and shoot the jumper, and when his jumper's on, you're not likely to stop him. His jumper was on. They didn't stop him.

You cant play him straight up. He has a nice crossover to get his shot off. I noticed the Lakers forced him one way towards traffic, and didnt allow him to choose his spots. That was a good game last night. I definitely thought Mason was going ot kick it to Parker so he could have use that speed to finish at the buzzer.
It didn't hurt that he couldn't buy a jumper against the Lakers. That makes him a lot easier to defend, as does having someone over 6'9" tall on the floor to help.

I thought Mason did about as well as you can do with him, he is big with a good first step and can shoot it so you have to pick you poison with him. The spurs problem is rotation D.

Hill may could have pestered him a bit but he is too big and strong for hill.
