Rumor: Clippers trading Kaman for Richardson
Jason Richardson - G/F - CHA - Nov. 25 - 6:38 pm et Hoopsworld and ESPN are reporting that the Bobcats and Clippers are having discussions about swapping shooting guard Jason Richardson for center Chris Kaman.
This trade would have positive ramifications across the board. The Bobcats could put D.J. Augustin in the starting five, while Kaman would finally give them a legitimate center. And the loss of Kaman would clear the way for Marcus Camby and Zach Randolph to start for the Clippers, while Richardson would be a big upgrade over Cuttino Mobley (now with the Knicks) and rookie Eric Gordon. If this trade were to happen, Gordon's value would immediately tank, but at this point, it's just a rumor. Nov. 25 - 6:38 pm et
